Prospect Lake, Colorado Springs - Feb. 1, 2014
FREEZIN’ FOR A REASON…it’s the 2014 Polar Plunge. Show your support for over 14,200 Special Olympics athletes in Colorado by plunging into icy waters and raising money for Special Olympics.
Here’s how it works:
Start a team or join a team (the more the merrier!) and ask your family and friends to pledge money towards your plunge. There are great incentives for reaching certain fundraising levels, and all proceeds benefit our amazing and courageous Special Olympics athletes. For example, by raising $250, you are funding training and competition for one athlete in his or her sport for the entire season!
We encourage everyone in the community to get involved – schools, fraternities, sororities, corporations, law enforcement agencies, groups of friends and families...
everyone can contribute something to make the event special.
Prizes will be awarded to the Highest Fundraising Individual, Highest Fundraising Team,
Highest Fundraising Athlete, and Best Costume!
Get started now by clicking Polar Plunge Registration on the left hand column. After you register, set up your fundraising page and start collecting pledges and earning great incentives!
We'll see you at the Polar Plunge!
Join us after the Polar Plunge from 2 - 5:30 p.m. at McCabe's at 520 S. Tejon St. in Colorado Springs. There will be drink specials, appetizers, lots of laughs and sharing of Plunge stories. We hope to see you there! Thank you, McCabe's, for hosting once again!!
